This is my DIY wooden simrig. I built this in 2016 for a Logitech setup, but it has evolved over the years and now houses a mostly Moza setup. The seat cost me $25 from a junkyard and might be the most comfortable seat in the house. No room for monitors, I do all of my racing in VR with a Valve Index.

In this photo you can see a Moza R9v2 wheelbase with a GSv2 GT wheel, Moza SR-P Pedals with clutch, a Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter with a shorter heavier shift knob, a generic USB handbrake, and a DSD P1 button box. On the wall is a Moza CSv2 wheel for any kind of racing that gets the wheel spinning.

I am powering everything except the wheelbase from an old PC power supply, which provides plenty of power for everything USB and a pair of Pyle Hydra 400 watt audio amplifiers. The audio amps are driving six bass shaker channels, mostly BST-1. The shakers not visible are in the seat bottom/back.

And a few photos from 2016 when I had just started building it. Here you can see I used Sketchup to design it for my Logitech G29 setup.

This one has the original Logitech setup, but without the shifter arm installed yet.
